Sebastian from Hatagaya here, how you doin'?
At the beginning of the last month I used my summer vacation to visit Okinawa.
I hadn't been to the sea during the whole summer and definitely wanted to do that even if it was already October.
And since a friend of mine also wanted to go there we booked the flights and spent four days in the southernmost province of Japan.
Have you ever seen one of the lion-ish protectors of Okinawa? They are called Shisa.
Even in autumn it was still over 30℃ and the water was very pleasant to swim in. Well usually we snorkeled.
It was actually my first time "real" snorkeling and during a tour they even gave us fish bait which when used led to a swarm of small and medium sized fish surrounding you.
The beaches were also a beautiful sight.
Oh and you can have lots of Meat based food, Taco rice, Ice cream and sweet potato dishes and of course special sake.
We also went to the Churaumi Aquarium, which currently is the second biggest in the world!
Their main attraction, two whale sharks and lots of Stingrays / Mantarays.
That's it for today, see you soon!
