March 2011 Archive.

I love reggae music.Reggae is my soul.I give big respect to rasta people.

One of the legend musician Bob Marly says in his song"Survial".
(Na-na-na-na-na!) Na-na-na, na-na-na na!
We're the survivors
In this age of technological inhumanity (Black survival),
Scientific atrocity (survivors),
Atomic misphilosophy (Black survival),
Nuclear misenergy (survivors):
It's a world that forces lifelong insecurity (Black survival).

We gonna be surviver.

We will bring your smiles, hearts and donations to the people who are living in the disaster areas.

We still have a long way to go to achieve the reconstruction, but we believe and pray that people will rise from the rubbles caused by the earthquake and tsunami and get their daily lives back, no matter how long it takes.

Guess what we heard yesterday?
Yesterday, cherry trees in Tokyo first bloomed.

Usually cherry trees, or "SAKURA" in Japanese, fully blossom about a week after they start to bloom.

sakura1.jpg sakura9.jpg

A tour company Japan Gray Line is having ‘Cherry Blossom Walking Tour In Tokyo’
Why don't you stay at SAKURA HOTEL IKEBUKURO and take the tour?
That would be a perfect plan in this season.

Japan is the land of SAKURA.
The life of SAKURA is very short … once cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they usually only last for about a week before all the petals fall to the ground.

It is sad to know the fact that SAKURA is short-lived, but I see virtue in the fleetingness of life.

CHARITY EVENT on March 27th

What can we do for the people who have been suffering from the disaster of earthquake and tsunami?
I ask myself that every day.
Maybe you ask yourself that every day, too.

Sometimes, it is not easy to take action…

Sending relief goods to the disaster-stricken region could be the one way.

Our Sakura Cafe Ikebukuro is going to have a charity event on March 27th to support the afflicted people in Tohoku area.

map10.JPG map11.GIF
We will have meals and drink (from 500yen) of "Tohoku" … Fukushima, Miyagi, Iwate, Yamagata and Akita.

Our donation and a part of sales of the event will be donated to the Japan Red Cross .

Please come and join us.

One action surely makes someone happy.

The 2011 Tokyo Marathon took place in downtown Tokyo on February 27th.
It was about 10 days before the earthquake broke out.

ma1.jpg ma2.jpg
2 gentlemen, Jose and Carlos from Spain, participated in the Tokyo Marathon.
Hey guys, how was it?
Did you finish in the top ten?

I just respect people who can complete full marathon.
Completing the marathon is much harder than it looks.
It does not matter where you finish (number) nor when you finish (time).

At the turn-around point near Shinagawa Station, Tokyo.
I came to the point to cheer for Jose and Carlos, but I could not find them...

ma6.jpg ma5.jpg ma7.jpg ma8.jpg ma10.jpg

As the spectators cheered for the runners, the runners smiled back.
Tokyo was filled with sweat, heat, warmth and happiness.
It looked like Tokyo become one with the people.

Now, it is hard to smile.
Honestly I have been stressed out from unusual situation, but every day I receive
warm words of encouragement from friends all over the world.
“A friend in need is a friend indeed”

We look forward to seeing you next year.
Good luck with 2012 Tokyo Marathon!

Kyoto and Osaka days

I was in Kyoto and Osaka in last 5 days.
I spend very warmy time with my friends and my girlfriend.

I could feel more safe to be with them.
My friend really worry about people who live in Tokyo and Tohoku area,I felt,we are together.

First i went to breakcore event organized by my friend"Cavilll".
Almost bands and DJs played very heavy fast core sound like death metal, black metal and break core.

I got earache finally...

Then i went to my friend's exhibition.
Her name is Pika. She is very famous musician as drummer of Afrirampo.
Her photography is so beautiful.I could feel so huge energy of human being.
She gave me huge energy to get over in this bad situation.
