Hello everyone!
I'm Kyoko.(I'm writing at Ken's account.)
I'm working in Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro as a trainee for a month:)

Today I'll write about my favorite japanese noodle "So-men".

Do you know something about "So-men"?

そうめん / shibainu

So-men is one of japanese noodles, which is eaten mostly in summer.
We eat so-men normaly with cold bonito soup.
Eating so-men makes our body cooler in hot summer.

But!
There is another way to eat so-men.

Look!

This is the pot noodle of so-men.
Yes, we eat so-men with warm soup too :)

I like this way to eat so-men, especially, when I catch a cold.
Very good for the stomachache.

How would you like to taste so-men with both of cold & warm soup?

Hi, everyone. How's your day?
Yesterday, I had a big surprise gift from our Sakura Hotel guests which is Ikebana.
Do you know what Ikebana is??
Ikebana is the art of beautifully arranging cut stems, leaves and flowers in vases and other containers that evolved in Japan.
Our Hotel guests who are Luke & Daniel, they went to Ikebana experience class yesterday and also enjoyed Japanese culture there.
After the class,,,,,

They gave me Ikebana. How nice!!!

They get in touch with Japanese culture, and feel joy for having enjoyed oneself
When you come to Japan, please try & feel Japanese culture like them.

In the first year and a half, I worked at Sakura Hotel Hatagaya
and I have been working for 2 and a half years at Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro.

Now, I am leaving this hotel ...
