Hi,Everyone.
This time i would like to write about Child's day in Japan.
5th May is the day and national holiday here.
Around Child's day you can see many carp shaped streamers called KOINOBORI everywhere in Japan.
KOI means a carp and NOBORI means a streamer.
Carp have been a synbol of strength and success for a long time in Japan as they can climb up the rapid stream.
Therefore KOINOBORI are put up to pray that children in that house will live their life strongly and successfully.
You may only see small KOINOBORI in Tokyo. However, in country side there might be huge one like this.
this is totally overwhelming and beautiful, isn't this??
