Gion Matsuri(Festival)

Gion Matsuri(Festival) is one of the most famous Matsuri in Japan.
It held every before summer.And i was there this year.
Actually Kyoto people don't like to be there because it is so crowded like below...
But i love design of "Hoko" and "Yama".
It is portable shrine.
Hoko is long sword carryed portable shrine.
Yama is some different kind of designed sclupture and small trees carryed portable shrine.
A tradition says "Summer come after Gion Matsuri".
