Last night we had a free baseball tour at Meiji-Jingu Stadium.
These days we had a lot of rain, but we were lucky to have a beautiful day yesterday.
Orix Buffaloes vs.Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
Guests from Sakura Hostel Asakusa, Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro, Sakura Hotel Jimbocho, Sakura Hotel Hatagaya and residents from Sakura House Joined the tour.
I expected that most of the participants would be Americans, but actually 30 participants were people from around the world. Some got passionate about baseball, others were just curious about the game, a few had never seen baseball game before, and some just wanted to have fun.
They enjoyed bento boxes and beers …
It is good that guests who were strangers to each other become friends.
I accompanied the guests from Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro on the tour and the tour gave me a chance to talk privately with the guests. I was impressed at their unique viewpoints on Japanese cultures and how they see Japanese things differently from the way Japanese do through conversation with them.
Mr. Fan (Hong Kong), Mr. Koo (South Korea), Ms. Ho Elaine (Canada), Ms. Amanda (U.S.A.) and Ms. Martina (Germany)
If people are from different countries, it is obvious that they will have a different culture, habits and ways of thinking. The different way of thinking is very stimulating to me and I believe the difference would help me to broaden my horizons.
