I was in Kyoto and Osaka in last 5 days.
I spend very warmy time with my friends and my girlfriend.

I could feel more safe to be with them.
My friend really worry about people who live in Tokyo and Tohoku area,I felt,we are together.

Hi there! How are you guys doing?
We'll introduce some hot-spring in Tokyo today.
We call hot-spring “ONSEN” in Japanese and we love it.
There is one only 1 station away from Ikebukuro station.

hotspring01_01[1].jpg

We feel that ONSEN familiar a little bit,
Because the ONSEN named Tokyo Somei Onesen “SAKURA” interestingly!!

↑Click the image to thier web site

An ONSEN is a mineral hot-spring spa which is said to have healing and health promoting properties.
That is the best way to relieve the weariness of the journey.
Even if you visit only in Tokyo for your trip to Japan, you can enjoy real ONSEN from our hotel.
And, you can take your towel from your room,
But please don’t forget to bring it back to the hotel.

After, we had the earth quake on 11th march,
We’re here in Tokyo, amid conflicting reports about Japan.
And, people who have stayed in the hotel are concerned for us empathically.

guestphotos.JPG

On this day, we’re not sure that we’re here because we have chosen hope over fear,
However, they make us so strong with the enthusiastic messages of support us.
So, In the face of any situation, we have to get through it.

Shinokubo, the Korean town in Tokyo

If you feel like having Korean dishes, you could try Shinokubo.

shinokubo.jpg

Shinokubo station is on JR Yamanote line, takes about 6 min from JR Ikebukuro station.

Near Shinokubo station, there is a local Korean town, so that you can get a glimse of Korea while you are in Japan. In Shinokubo, you may hear a lot of 'Anyong haseyo'('hello' in Korean) around. The atmosphere is a bit different from any other places in Japan. It's more energetic and dynamic... I think ;D

You could find many Korean restaurants, K-pop shops (selling Korean-pop idol products) and Korean markets.

What about having Samgyopsal for dinner tonight at Shinokubo? ><

sa.jpg
* Samgyopsal consists of sliced pork belly meat, cooked on a grill. It's very popular Korean dish!

Tokyo is almost back to the normal though,
I'm still feeling very sad by seeing the shocking pics and videos wihch took around pacific coasts in north hit by tsunami..

The number of confirmed victims and missing persons is over 3,000 at the moment and it could be top 10,000...

Deepest condolence for the victims and pray for the afflicted people and areas will be better soon.

We Japanese have overcome many crises before, so I strongly believe we'll be able to get over and get better.

And we really appreciate all of the warm and encouraging meesages and supports sent to us.

They got mighty power for us.

Mount Takao, located within the municipality of Hachioji City
,in the southeastern part of the Kanto mountainous region,
is about 50 km from the center of Tokyo.
PB286265.jpg
Because of this convenient location, visitors can enjoy
its natural beauty and the many other attractions
all in a day's trip. In recognition of its magnificent beauty
, the 2007 edition of Michelin's Voyager Pratique Japon,
the famous French travel guidebook, awarded Mt. Takao
and Mt. Fuji the maximum of three stars. The view of
Mt. Fuji is magnificent.

Visitors can climb Mt. Takao by taking a cable car
or lift to a point 400 m up - halfway up the mountain.
They can also climb to the top along one of three trails,
each of which takes about one-and-a-half hours.

Visitors to Mount Takao can choose to start climbing from the base,
or take a funicular or ropeway ride halfway up the mountain.

During Fall, the red leaves are very beautiful. They cover the whole moutain,
attracting a lot of tourists to go there.

On the northern side, you can see Kanto Plain. In the foreground
you can see the sprawling cities of Hachioji and Tachikawa with
the skyscrapers of central Tokyo, the Tokyo Tower,
and the Yokohama Landmark Tower in the background.
